Costa de Almería

Situated in the Almeria province, Costa de Almeria remains completely unspoilt.

Costa de Almería To the east, visitors will find the rugged and desolate coast of the Cabo del Gato-Nijar natural park, an arid desert landscape. Sparsely populated, it has few villages in which you will be able to explore many of the coves that can only be reached on foot. The most popular coastal village is San José.

To the west are the highly developed tourist resorts of Roquetas de Mar and Aqua Dulce, featuring all the facilities of any modern resort. Also of interest, the complex of Almerimar with Marinas, golf, hotels and many other facilities.

To the north are the naturist beaches of Vera, and a little further south is Mojacar which successfully combines the popular beach holiday resort with the hillside white village that tourist love to explore.

Almeria city's main attraction is the Alcazaba castle overlooking the metropolis. The old fishing port town of Adra boasts an interesting castle and plenty of archeological remains.
